By now, nearly everyone has heard of laser hair removal. But very few of the 70 million men and women with thinning hair, medically deemed androgenic alopecia, have considered the power of a laser to regrow- not remove- hair that they had previously lost.
Laser hair loss therapy is a new non-surgical scientific approach to treating hair loss, thinning hair, baldness and problems associated with the scalp. It is a tested method using low level laser energy, or “soft” laser light to effectively treat the appearance of hair loss. This non-surgical treatment utilizes a device containing therapeutic low level lasers developed in Europe. The treatment delivers light energy directly from rotating laser positions designed to cosmetically treat the appearance of thin, fine, damaged hair. Physicians are praising this technology as an effective treatment to increase hair thickness and rejuvenate hair.
“Our therapy is clearly a breakthrough for people who are uncomfortable with the progressive hair loss that they are experiencing and want to take action”, comments MaryAnne Didomizio, an expert in hair restoration for both medical and non-medical clients, and a 25 year veteran of hair loss treatment. “ This treatment is ideal for people that are currently experiencing hair loss, and for those that have a genetic predisposition to hair loss. If a person looks at the rest of their family and sees a lot of thin hair, they are an ideal candidate for early intervention.”
That intervention comes in the form of a combination of cool-to-the-touch laser therapy and a scientifically advanced topical treatment regimen. “I have seen dramatic restoration in my clients in as little as 6 weeks,” comments Didomizio, “I place a medical magnifying device against their scalp and let them see the growth right there on the screen. They are usually respond with ‘oh my gosh, I have hair again!’.” That hair is the baby-fine beginnings of what a natural alternative to hair replacement surgery or harsh chemical treatments. The results, and the hair, are real.
